What is a composite door?
As the name suggests, a composite door is made up of a ‘composite’ of materials, such as timber, GRP, PU foam and uPVC. This mixture of materials allows composite doors to be incredibly strong and durable. If security is a key factor, they are a fantastic option, and a great upgrade from uPVC.
They are also a stylish choice for anyone wanting to recreate the look of an older timber door. They can be produced in a wide range of styles, from traditional designs (ideal for older homes) though to something more modern.
